Dr. Madhusudan Dattatray Patil (Dr. M.D. Patil) is an Ayurvedic physician and researcher with over three decades of service in Ayurvedic medicine, clinical practice and academic research. His work has focused on Bijawahini Chedan (tubectomy) procedures and Rasayan Chikitsa (rejuvenation therapy).
He holds a Ph.D. in Ayurved from Pune University (1996) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Indian Medicine (F.I.I.M.). His research earned two gold medals from the Ayurveda Academy, Pune, for his studies of Vata Dosha and tubectomy-related Ayurvedic treatment.
He served as a Medical Officer with the Health Department, Government of Maharashtra, in Parbhani District from 1981 to 2015, bringing Ayurvedic healthcare to the community.
